Health Care - Exempts from requirement that rules regulating physician assistants must be jointly adopted by board of medical examiners and committee on physician assistants, and requirement that rules regulating nurse practitioners must be jointly adopted by board of medical examiners and board of nursing, any rules that address the roles and supervisory responsibilities of supervising physicians. - Amends TCA Title 63.

Other Fiscal Impact - The Board of Medical Examiners will hold an additional meeting in FY09 at a total cost of $5,200 for travel reimbursements and per diem. These one-time expenditures can be funded from existing resources of the Board without the collection of additional revenue.
