Companion Bill HB4212. Lottery, Scholarships and Programs - Creates the "Tennessee student assistance award fund," to be funded with lottery proceeds, to help provide more student assistance grants; provides for $200 million being transferred from lottery for education account to Tennessee student assistance award fund on July 1, 2008. - Amends TCA Title 9, Chapter 4, Part 6 and Title 49, Chapter 4, Part 9. Fiscal Summary for SB4197 / *HB4212Other Fiscal Impact - Transfers $200,000,000 from the Lottery for Education Account to the Tennessee Student Assistance Award Fund, for the purpose of funding additional Tennessee Student Assistance Awards.
