Companion Bill HB4169. Education - Creates a two-year pilot initiative for metro Nashville public schools and Davidson County wherein class sizes in career and technical education classes may be extended not to exceed the limit set for academic classes in grades seven through 12, only where programs are implemented that use the career academy or small learning community model; requires the department of education to convene a committee for the purpose of reviewing and making recommendations based on the two-year pilot initiative. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 1, Part 1.
