Companion Bill SB3978. Lottery, Scholarships and Programs - Mandates reduction of amount of Tennessee HOPE foster child tuition grant only for gift aid received; permits Tennessee HOPE foster child tuition grant to be used for room and board as well as tuition and fees. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 4, Part 9. Fiscal Summary for *HB3742 / SB3978Other Fiscal Impact - Increases the expenditure of lottery proceeds earmarked for scholarships and grants by $50,000 per year.
