Fiscal Summary for *SB3893 / HB3969 Increase Local Expenditures* - Exceeds $39,000 Bill Summary for *SB3893 / HB3969 Under present law, when a vacancy arises in a county office that is required by law to be filled by a vote of the people, the county legislative body must appoint a person to fill the vacancy, and any person so appointed serves until a successor is elected at the next general election.
