Companion Bill SB3317. Mental Illness - Extends opportunity for a person being committed to approve and sign an information release that authorizes the facility or program to release certain information concerning the service recipient to certain family members and other designated persons when service recipient is entering inpatient treatment at a facility, is in an emergency room or in a crisis response setting so that the opportunity to sign such a release would also arise when the person is entering outpatient treatment or is admitted in ongoing treatment with a community mental health care provider. - Amends TCA Title 33.
