Requiring the commissioner of human services to deliver health care services to state health care program enrollees through the expansion of direct contacting with providers under medical assistance (MA), general assistance medical care (GAMC) and MinnesotaCare; prohibiting contracts with prepaid health plans to provide health care services; prohibiting the commissioner from using prior authorization or other utilization controls for health care services by direct contracting, providing an exemption for county based purchasing; requiring the commissioner to present to the legislature by a certain date recommendations and draft legislation; specifying instructions to the revisor of statutes; repealing commissioner of human services prepaid health plans, a MA dental access grant prepayment demonstration project and MinnesotaCare managed care (rt Comment on Bill - Be the first to leave a comment!
