ON MARCH 3, 2008, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1. SENATE BILL 3290, AS AMENDED, FAILED TO RECEIVED A CONSTITUTIONAL MAJORITY VOTE AND WAS RE-REFERRED TO CALENDAR COMMITTEE.

AMENDMENT #1 clarifies that an employee acting within the scope of employment for an age-restricted venue is not a "patron" who must be at least 21 years of age in order to enter the establishment.
