Companion Bill SB3548. County Officers - Clarifies that compensation for certain county officers shall be at a minimum a percentage higher than the total compensation paid other county officials. - Amends TCA Title 8, Chapter 22, Part 1 and Title 8, Chapter 24. Fiscal Summary for HB3432 / *SB3548 Increase Local Expenditures* - Exceeds $403,300 Bill Summary for HB3432 / *SB3548 Present law requires that the county mayor's compensation be at least 5 percent higher than the salary paid to any other county constitutional office. Also, the compensation for the sheriff and chief administrative officer of the county highway department must be at least 10 percent higher than the salary paid to the general officers of the county.
