To reform the veterans' disability determination process by requiring the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to pay disability compensation to certain veterans based on the concurring diagnosis of two physicians. 1/22/2008--Introduced.
Veterans Disability Reform Act of 2007 - Directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to pay veterans' disability compensation to each veteran who: (1) is discharged or released from active duty service on or after September 11, 2001, under conditions other than dishonorable; (2) submits to the Secretary the concurring diagnoses of any two physicians stating that the veteran has a compensable service-connected disability. Requires the concurring physicians to assign a rating of such disability. Bases the amount of compensation on the disability rating. Prohibits the Secretary from requiring such a veteran to submit a claim in order to receive such compensation. Comment on Bill - Be the first to leave a comment!
