Companion Bill SB3046. Tobacco, Tobacco Products - Revises definition of age restricted venue to apply only to patrons age 21 and over instead of to all persons age 21 and over with additional restrictions on certain employees. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 18. Fiscal Summary for HB3068 / *SB3046(Corrected) Increase State Expenditures - Not Significant Bill Summary for HB3068 / *SB3046 Present law authorizes age restricted venues to allow smoking on the premises. An age restricted venue is an establishment that does not admit entry by any person, including an employee, who is less than 21 years of age. This bill authorizes public establishments to employ persons between the ages of 18 and 21 years without being disqualified from being an age restricted venue for purposes of being exempt from the ban on smoking in public places.[...]
