Fiscal Summary for *SB3481 / HB3337Decrease State Revenue - Net Impact - $8,408,300 Increase State Expenditures - $2,832,800 Decrease Local Revenue - $404,700 Bill Summary for *SB3481 / HB3337 Under present law, there is a sales tax holiday weekend each August, and March 2008, during which certain sales of clothing, school supplies, school art supplies, and computers are exempt from the sales tax. This bill would create an "energy star appliance sales tax free weekend" for sales of certain household items that have been awarded the energy star label and that have a sales price of $1,500 or less per item.
