Fiscal Summary for *HB3211 / SB3528Increase State Expenditures - $224,000 Bill Summary for *HB3211 / SB3528 Present law requires the warden of the Tennessee state penitentiary, upon reception of each inmate, to have the inmate undergo HIV testing with or without the inmate's consent. The results of the HIV test are not public record. Any inmate who was tested for HIV upon his or her initial arrest after being charged with a sexual offense is not required to be retested upon entry into the penitentiary.
