Massage - Extends term of members of the massage licensure board from two years to five years; authorizes board to impose fees for continuing education courses; increases from "at least three years" to "at least five years," the number of years of experience board members, except for citizen members, must have. - Amends TCA Title 63, Chapter 18. Fiscal Summary for *SB3627 / HB3672Increase State Revenue - Not Significant Other Fiscal Impact - The Massage Licensure Board will hold one additional meeting in FY09 at a total cost of $3,100 for travel reimbursements, per diems, and a court reporter. These one-time expenditures can be funded from existing resources of the Board without the collection of additional revenue.
