Companion Bill SB2809. Lottery, Scholarships and Programs - Creates the "lottery for education after school programs grant fund" administered by the department of education for deposit of excess lottery funds for after school programs and technical assistance; provided, that lottery-funded postsecondary financial assistance programs are fully funded; requires after school program grants to be three-year grants. - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 51, Part 1 and Title 49, Chapter 6, Part 7. Fiscal Summary for HB2975 / *SB2809Other Fiscal Impact - Based on current revenue and expenditure estimates for the Tennessee Education Lottery program, approximately $5,000,000 in excess lottery funds is anticipated for FY08-09.
