Bill Summary for SB3415 / *HB3074

Present law requires each LEA to establish a local salary schedule for all licensed personnel in such LEA. This bill adds that for each local salary schedule established by an LEA for all licensed personnel in the LEA, there must be a cost-of-living adjustment added to the base salary schedule, if there is a percentage increase in the consumer price index of at least 0.5 percent. If the percentage is 0.5 percent or more but less than 1 percent, the percentage would be rounded to the 1 percent.
