Fiscal Summary for *HB3288Increase State Revenue - Not Significant Increase State Expenditures - Not Significant Bill Summary for *HB3288 This bill removes a present law exemption from the nursing licensure requirements for certain persons providing personal support services. Under present law, a person employed by an agency licensed under the Mental Health, Developmental Disability, and Personal Support Services Licensure Law, who provides personal support services to clients living in their own home or private residence may assist the client with medication, except for injections, upon written authorization by the client or the client's authorized representative, without being subject to the nursing licensure provisions.
