HB3081 - Tennessee: Handgun Permits

Handgun Permits - Allows person who was voluntarily committed or hospitalized in mental institution to obtain permit after seven years following date of release if such applicant also has a certificate from a psychiatrist licensed in this state stating the applicant exhibited no signs of mental illness and the applicant is not a danger to himself or society. - Amends TCA Section 39-17-1351.
