Companion Bill SB2810. Election Laws - Requires identification and proof of citizenship for voter registration. - Amends TCA Title 2. Fiscal Summary for HB3052 / *SB2810Increase State Expenditures - $37,200 One-Time Bill Summary for HB3052 / *SB2810 Present law requires that certain information be included in an applicant's permanent registration record for voting (such as name, address, birth date and place, social security number (if any), whether the applicant has been convicted of a felony, whether the applicant is a U.S. citizen, and whether the applicant is a Tennessee resident). Under present law, qualified voters may register by mail by use of postal card forms.
