Disabled Persons - Removes the requirement that permanently disabled passengers of motor vehicles must renew a disabled placard every two years. - Amends TCA Title 55, Chapter 21.

Bill Summary for *SB3322 / HB3904

Present law requires permanent disabled driver parking placards to be renewed every two years. Any person who is not permanently disabled is required to submit a physician's certification in order to renew a permanent placard.

Under this bill, permanent placards that are issued to a permanently disabled person on or after July 1, 2008, would not expire and would not have to be renewed.
