Bill Summary for *HB3005 / SB3261
Present law authorizes the publications committee to establish rules and regulations to control the costs and quantity of all publications and to promulgate rules governing the printing and distribution of state agency reports and publications.
This bill specifically authorizes the TRICOR board to authorize the preparation and use of publications for the marketing and public education needs of TRICOR products and services, notwithstanding the publications committee's rules or any law to the contrary.
