Capital Punishment - Provides that in cases of first degree murder in which the penalty of death is imposed, the first appeal from the trial court is an automatic direct appeal to the supreme court thereby removing the court of criminal appeals from the death penalty appellate review process. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 13, Part 2.
