Companion Bill HB3368. Billboards - Eliminates the 18-month period of time in which certain permits may be issued for outdoor advertising in particular locations. - Amends TCA Section 54-21-116. Fiscal Summary for *SB3235 / HB3368 Decrease State Revenue - Not Significant/Highway Fund Bill Summary for *SB3235 / HB3368 Present law places restrictions on the spacing, size, and lighting of outdoor advertising. When those restrictions were modified several years ago, the legislature enacted a provision whereby outdoor advertising in Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga that existed in conformity with prior restrictions was unaffected by the changes in restrictions.
