Fiscal Summary for *HB2999 / SB3682Increase State Expenditures - $11,100/One-Time $249,500/Recurring Bill Summary for *HB2999 / SB3682 This bill prohibits an abortion from being performed unless: (1) The woman is informed of the probable gestational age of the embryo or fetus at the time the abortion is to be performed. The woman would be so informed by the physician who is to perform the abortion or by a health provider working in conjunction with the physician of the procedure to be involved and by the physician who is to perform the abortion; and (2) An ultrasound is performed, except in the case of a medical emergency.
