Companion Bill SB2876. Lottery, Scholarships and Programs - Creates the "General Assembly Civic Education Scholarship" funded from net lottery proceeds. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 4, Part 9. Fiscal Summary for HB2942 / *SB2876Increase State Expenditures - Not Significant Other Fiscal Impact - No increase of expenditures from lottery proceeds earmarked for scholarships and grants in FY08-09. Increases the expenditure of lottery proceeds by $132,000 in FY09-10. Any increase of expenditures from lottery proceeds in FY10-11 or subsequent fiscal years are subject to legislative action as determined by the General Appropriations Act.
