Bill Summary for *HB2841 / SB2956 This bill creates the Tennessee local firefighters and law enforcement officers grant. Subject to appropriations and the availability of lottery funds, the grant would be one-half of the amount of a HOPE scholarship awarded to a full-time student at the eligible postsecondary institution attended by the recipient.
