Companion Bill SB2904. Hospitals and Health Care Facilities - Removes requirement that a home medical equipment provider be accredited by the joint commission on accreditation of health care organizations. - Amends TCA Section 68-11-226. Any home medical equipment provider who is accredited by the joint commission on accreditation of health care organizations or other home care accrediting organizations recognized by the health care financing administration is presumed to comply with the requirements of the board for licensure.
