Highways, Roads and Bridges - Revises provisions limiting transportation of rolled hay bales to no more than two rolled hay bales that are stacked side by side. - Amends TCA Title 55, Chapter 7, Part 2. Fiscal Summary for *SB3019 / HB3149Other Fiscal Impact - According to the Department of Transportation, because this bill would allow loads exceeding 102 inches to travel on the interstate system it would violate federal regulations. Such a violation would result in federal-aid funds for the National Highway System that are apportioned to Tennessee for the next fiscal year being reduced by an amount equal to 10 percent of the amount which would otherwise be apportioned to the state.
