Fiscal Summary for SB3151 / *HB2594 Increase State Expenditures - $309,200/Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund Bill Summary for SB3151 / *HB2594 Generally, under present law, a claimant is disqualified from eligibility for unemployment benefits if the claimant left his or her most recent work voluntarily without good cause connected with such claimant's work. This bill adds an exception to present law whereby any otherwise qualified claimant would not be denied unemployment benefits on the basis that the claimant left work or was discharged due to circumstances resulting from the individual being a victim of domestic violence.
