Companion Bill HB2866. County Officers - Requires chief administrative officer of county highway department to designate interim successor, in writing, who shall fulfill office upon death, resignation, or removal of chief executive officer until qualified successor chosen by law; interim successor must be assistant superintendent of highways, chief foreman, administrative assistant, or other highest ranking member of the office. - Amends TCA Section 54-7-107.
