Bill Summary for *HB2767 / SB3390

This bill requires the department of education, in consultation with the department of health, to establish minimum guidelines for health insurance coverage necessary for attendance in schools for grades K through 12. Beginning in academic year 2009-2010 and each subsequent year, proof of health insurance in compliance with the department's guidelines would be required from each student before the student could begin classroom instruction.
