ON APRIL 7, 2008, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 2736, AS AMENDED.
AMENDMENT #1 requires that any present or future revenues from the severance tax on minerals be a part of the highway fund of Perry County instead of a part of the general fund of Perry County.
