School Transportation - Encourages each LEA to conduct an investigation to determine if any special hazard zones are present within walking routes children commonly utilize going to and from school. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 6, Part 21. Fiscal Summary for *HB2651 / SB3080Increase State Expenditures - $6,737,000 Increase Local Expenditures* - $21,400,000/One-Time $5,610,000/Net Recurring Bill Summary for *HB2651 / SB3080 Present law allows but does not require a board of education to provide school transportation facilities for a child who lives less than 1.5 miles by the nearest accessible route from the school in which the student is enrolled.
