ON APRIL 10, 2008, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 2622, AS AMENDED.
AMENDMENT #1 revises this bill to restate the focus of the department of children's services from preserving the relationship between child and family to serving the best interest of the child and, when appropriate, to preserve the relationship between the child and the family.
