Criminal Offenses - Provides that a person's third or subsequent conviction for theft of an amount under $500 is a Class E felony rather than a Class A misdemeanor. - Amends TCA Title 39.

Under present law, theft of property or services is a Class A misdemeanor if the value of the property or services obtained is $500 or less. Under this bill, theft of property or services valued at $500 or less would be a Class E felony, if it is the person's third or subsequent conviction for the offense.
