Expenditures - Not Significant Bill Summary for SB2619 / *HB2483 Under present law, an owner of real property that has a deed that reflects the presence of human remains on the property may not develop or disturb the land within 10 feet of any gravesite or within five feet of any crypt. Present law allows such an owner to transfer the remains, at the owner's expense and pursuant to the proper procedure, outlined in present law, for termination of use of land as a cemetery.
