Companion Bill SB1175. Sexual Offenders - Makes age of sexual offender and of victim at time of the offense public information on the sexual offender registry. - Amends TCA Title 40, Chapter 39, Part 2. Fiscal Summary for *HB0177 / SB1175Increase State Expenditures - $8,000 One-Time Bill Summary for *HB0177 / SB1175 ON MARCH 7, 2007, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENTS #1 AND #2 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 1175, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 makes the number of different victims involved in a sex offender's convictions, in addition to the age of the sexual offender and of the victim at the time of the offense, public information on the sexual offender registry. AMENDMENT #2 removes the offender's parole or probation officer from the list of information that is considered public information for purposes of the sexual offender registry.
