Expenditures - Net Decrease - Exceeds $25,000 Bill Summary for HB1267 / *SB1780 This bill requires wastewater treatment authorities to utilize competitive bidding or competitive proposals prior to making a purchase, lease, or lease purchase. This requirement applies only if the purchase, lease, or lease purchase exceeds the amount established in the County Purchasing Law of 1983, which is $5,000. This bill requires the authorities to use the present law competitive bidding procedures that are applicable to counties under the County Purchasing Law of 1983.
