Fiscal Summary for *HB1163 / SB1537 Increase State Expenditures - $738,600/Recurring $118,000/One-Time Bill Summary for *HB1163 / SB1537 This bill prohibits any manufacturer, including resellers and importers, from selling computer devices, including monitors, printers, and notebook and desktop computers, in Tennessee unless the manufacturer includes on the device a permanently affixed label with the manufacturer's brand, and has a recovery plan to collect from a consumer and reuse, recycle, or dispose of every device bearing the manufacturer's label.
