Motor Vehicles, Titling and Registration - Authorizes the retitling of nonrepairable vehicles if sufficiently noted on nonrepairable vehicle certificate and the title. - Amends TCA Title 55, Chapter 3, Part 2.

Bill Summary for HB2057 / *SB1991

Under present law, any passenger motor vehicle designated as nonrepairable is issued a nonrepairable vehicle certificate and is not eligible to be retitled. This bill allows for vehicles that have been issued nonrepairable vehicle certificates being retitled with the indication in at least 24-font, red type on the title that the vehicle is salvage nonrepairable or "SNR."
