Expenditures - Not Significant Bill Summary for *HB0776 / SB0800 Under present law, when an order of parentage is entered by a court, the clerk of the court is required to transmit a certified copy of the order and the completed application for a birth certificate to the registrar of vital records; however, the clerk is not required to transmit any fee for the processing or issuance of a birth certificate unless the fee is paid by, or on behalf of, the parent, guardian, or legal custodian of the child.[...] show full description
