Fiscal Summary for *HB0942 / SB1208Increase State Expenditures - $32,500 Bill Summary for *HB0942 / SB1208 Under present law, states follow a recognized set of procedures that are used to expedite the return of juveniles who have escaped, absconded, or run away and to provide proper court supervision for such juveniles. This bill would revise the juvenile compact law to: (1) Establish an interstate commission for juveniles made up of the member states that would administer the juvenile compact; and (2) Remove antiquated language and clarify the compact rules and procedures.
