Companion Bill SB2292. Hospitals and Health Care Facilities - Prohibits health care facilities from "requiring an uninsured patient to pay for services in an amount that exceeds 175 percent of the cost of the services provided" instead of prohibiting such facilities from "requiring an uninsured patient to pay for services in an amount that exceeds 150 percent of the average commercial health insurance reimbursement for the services provided"; requires health care facilities to develop statements of their charity policies. - Amends TCA Title 47, Chapter 18 and Title 68.
