Fiscal Summary for HB1538 / *SB1149MINIMAL Bill Summary for HB1538 / *SB1149 Under present law, a person must obtain a certificate of need before performing certain actions with respect to a health care institution, such as construction or renovation. The health services and development agency may defer decisions on such applications for up to 90 days in order to obtain a clarification of information concerning the application.
