AMENDMENT #1 changes the southwest terminus of the Sam Houston Memorial Highway from the boundary of Blount and Loudon Counties to the intersection of U.S. Highway 411 with State Route 35 (Washington Street) in Blount County. This amendment directs that the Sam Houston Memorial Highway signage be placed outside the corporate limits of the Coty of Maryville.
