Fiscal Summary for HB0556 / *SB0481Increase State Expenditures - $40,700 Recurring $3,900 One-Time Bill Summary for HB0556 / *SB0481 Present law provides for withholding resuscitative services for a patient for whom a universal do not resuscitate order has been established. A "universal do not resuscitate order" means a written order that applies regardless of the treatment setting and that is signed by the patient's physician which states that in the event the patient suffers cardiac or respiratory arrest, cardiopulmonary resuscitation should not be attempted.
