ON MAY 24, 2007, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND CONCURRED IN HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 62, AS AMENDED.
AMENDMENT #1 removes the language "without orders from physicians" from this joint resolution, thereby urging all county health departments to allow properly trained employees to take the blood pressures of individuals who present for treatment.
