Companion Bill SB1507. Firearms and Ammunition - Requires five-year mandatory minimum sentence for a felon who possesses a handgun; 12 years for a felon who possesses a handgun with the intent to employ it in the commission of an offense; and 20 years for a felon who uses a handgun to commit an offense. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 13 and Title 40, Chapter 35.
