ON APRIL 19, 2007, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 1278, AS AMENDED.
AMENDMENT #1 requires that "a reasonable effort be made to ensure the immediate blasting area remains undisturbed" instead of requiring that "the site remain undisturbed."
