Companion Bill HB1606. Lobbying, Lobbyists - Modifies certain regulatory provisions within the Tennessee Ethics Commission Act of 2006. - Amends TCA Title 3, Chapter 6. Fiscal Summary for SB2000 / *HB1606 Increase State Revenues - Less than $10,000 One-Time Bill Summary for SB2000 / *HB1606 Present law requires the ethics commission to provide an ethics manual for lobbyists and employers of lobbyists. In addition, lobbyists are prohibited from engaging in lobbying activities on the behalf of any employer of a lobbyist prior to delivering the ethics manual to the potential employer. The lobbyist is further required to verify the delivery of an ethics manual to an employer of the lobbyist as part of the lobbyist's registration process.
